What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure which injects vitamins, minerals, plant extracts, and other chemicals into the skin to rejuvenate, and in some instances remove excess fat from the body.
Below is a list of concerns treatable by mesotherapy:
- Hair loss/alopecia
- Skin quality
- Stretch marks/acne scarring
Some of the benefits of mesotherapy include:
- Improved appearance of alopecia, acne scarring and stretch marks, melasma and overall texture and tone
- Improved serum absorption
- Low maintenance
- No downtime
- Low cost - can be performed at home with the Hydra Pro
Mesotherapy was developed in 1952 by French physician, Dr. Michel Pistor. Mesotherapy microneedling promotes improved absorption of highly concentrated serums in targeted locations for local diffusion and rapid results. Ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and ceramides will intensely hydrate your skin, while antioxidants will illuminate and repair your skin.
The Dr Pen Hydra Pro can be used for mesotherapy. With an in-built serum cavity, the Hydra Pro (below) injects serum ingredients deep into the epidermis while needling. This practice helps boost cellular regeneration and promote skin health and overall brightness.
You can also perform regular microneedling with the Hydra Pro device which has a 5 speed level, a rechargeable in-built battery and high-speed vertical movement to help minimise any discomfort. For the full description click here.
